Car seats can be made from leather.
Leather I know is attractive to look at but what other reason/property why leather is chosen to make car seats.

Leather also has a high tendency to hold heat (and coldness), it is breathable, and also looks very expensive. This is a modern thing (started being available in the 80s and 90s in most cars), but has been around for a long time.

Leather is only used in expensive cars; All mass produced cars use either synthetic rubber, or fabric. cost is in point in mass production!! Labour is no longer cheap!
