Why does a boiled gammon ham joint that is unsmoked ham make me ill.

I boil it and then freeze it in the freezer. I thaw it in the fridge and then ate it.

No one else is ill and I do not understand what happens ot the ham that can make me ill.

This is a chemistry question as I want to know what happens to the ham to make me ill.

No one else is ill so it has got to be something that happens ot the ham. I eat it before it is frozen and it is fine. Then freeze what is left in meal size portions.

Can anyone help?

if anything it's bacteria, it makes very little sense freezing ham would make it poisonous.

you may just be deficient in what ever enzyms break down animal protiens/fat
